On August 16, 2017, the cooperation agreement was created between ECO Eburnie, a subsidiary of the Mota-Engil Group, and Côte d’Ivoire, on the cleaning up of the city of Abidjan.
On September 12, 2017, on a state visit to Portugal, Alassane Outtara, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, is received by his counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Portuguese Republic.
On November 29, 2017, the Minister of Sanitation and Security, Anne Désirée Ouloto signed the minutes of entry into force of the Conventions of the Delegation of Public Utility of the City of Abidjan, with the companies ECO Eburnie (a subsidiary of the company MOTA- ENGIL) in the Plateau district (Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire).
On November 2, 2018, ECO Eburnie services start their activity.
